Explore the archaeological sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus, two UNESCO World Heritage sites that are steeped in myth and legend. Marvel at the monumental Lion Gate and the Treasury of Atreus in Mycenae, and visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Afterward, return to Athens for a farewell dinner celebrating the end of your classic Greece tour. Visit Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Explore the ancient sanctuary, including the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, and the ancient stadium, where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 BC. Visit the Olympia Archaeological Museum to see treasures unearthed from the site before continuing to your overnight destination.

ATHENS
Day 1
Welcome to Athens
On arrival you will be met by our assistant and transfer to your hotel. Welcome meeting and detailed information will be presented to you about your trip. Evening is free and this first day is an opportunity for a walk in the center. Stroll into the picturable alleys of Plaka area, enjoy some “Ouzo” along with heavenly taste “mezedes” with the view of Acropolis rise above the city.
Day 2
Talk a walk to ancient history
The best way to see Athens is a walking tour. You can feel the vibes, explore every sense and meet the locals and taste street food on your way! Start the day by walking to the Acropolis hill where you’ll enjoy Parthenon, the Erectheion & the surrounding monuments. Then descend to Acropolis museum, in order to have a view of fascinating exhibitions. Continue by crossing Andrianou Street, the most distinctive street of Plaka neighborhood, the imposing Roman Agora the vivid life of Monastiraki Square and the surrounding streets.
Day 3
Homers land
Leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short photo stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. (Dinner)
Day 4
Birthplace of Olympic games
In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Overnight. (Dinner)
Day 5
The ancient oracle of the world
Visit the archaeological site and the MUSEUM of Delphi. Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Pass by CASTALIA SPRING, visit at the archaeological site and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the temple of Pronaia, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and Delphi museum, with it’s spectacular exhibits include the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos the metopes of the Athenian treasury, the famous bronze Charioteer, and many other artifacts.In the afternoon after optional lunch return to Athens. Overnight. (Dinner)

Pictures and memories for home
